Does
your ISP or email hosting provider limit the size of emails
that you can send? Most do - to about 2-5MB in size. So what happens when
you try to send a file larger than those limits- it never
gets delivered. AttachmentMail allows you to send up to
a 2GB file, quickly, easily, securely and its auditable
to ensure that your message and file attachment actually was delivered and received by the intended party.
The AttachmentMail service is a hosted web based application
that allows you and your customers to easily interact
with large files that are transmitted securely and instantly. Moreover, we also offer an Outlook Addin to make sending files easier and seamless to how you currently send email.
So how does it
work? Its easy to use- merely login to your account
at AttachmentMail and upload your file(s) that you want
to send. Select from the online address book or enter
in an email address, type in an optional short customized
message and click send, then we do the rest. What the
receipient receives is an email from us with a secure
delivery web address to download the files you previously
attached. As soon as they download the file, we keep
a log of it. You won't hear again that "I never received
the file" - you can go back to your history and verify
that they did indeed download the file.
Is it secure?
Yes, absolutely. When you upload your files to us, they
are trasmitted over a secure channel using the latest
SSL technology. Once your file is uploaded, its immediately
encrypted on the server- your file can never be read
by anyone that does not have the expressed permission
of "owning" the file or downloading the file. When your
file is delivered to the receipient, it is again downloaded
over a secure channel and decrypted. You can also optionally set a password before the file can be
downloaded. AttachmentMail
is the most secure way to send file attachments by email.
Does the receipient
need to have an AttachmentMail account too? Not
unless they want to be able to send files to other individuals.
AttachmentMail is only required by the person who is
sending the files. Receipients are not required to posess
an AttachmentMail account.
